Session Introduction:
Education is evolving beyond the traditional “Reading, wRiting, and aRithmetic.” In today’s dynamic world, the new three Rs—Reconnect, Reengage, and Reimagine—are at the heart of meaningful learning. This session will explore how educators can rebuild relationships, reignite learner engagement, and reimagine their practice to meet the needs of a changing educational landscape.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the importance of reconnecting with students to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
2. Explore strategies to reengage learners by creating purposeful and relevant classroom experiences.
3. Identify opportunities to reimagine teaching through innovation, creativity, and responsiveness to future learning needs.
About Instructor
Prof. Abbas Husain, Director Teachers’ Development Centre, leads a team of teacher trainers and has so far reached over 85,000 teachers in schools of every variety in the country. He is one of the founding members of SPELT and has participated in all international conferences from 1987 to date. He holds a Master’s Degree in English Literature from University of Karachi and a M.Ed. TESOL from University of Manchester. In 2020, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award by Millennium Institute of Professional Development presented by Mohsin e Pakistan Dr. A. Q. Khan.
