Course Description:

This course will introduce participants to some        common concepts of motivation, theories, and their application in real life classroom scenarios – thus educators will be equipped with tools to invoke effort from their students out of motivation rather than force. By understanding typical causes of success and failure, educators will learn to build their relations with students to achieve higher levels of motivation in the classroom.

Learning Outcomes:

After attending this training, school teachers will be able to:

  • Define motivation and its types
  • Describe the different perspectives of motivation
  • Develop the understanding of holistic aspects of motivation for the effective classroom environment
  • Design strategies of learning and teaching to develop motivation among the students
  • Implement motivational techniques to boost students’ performance

About Instructor: 

Hajra M. Saleem is an affable and assertive young individual who is passionate about training and motivational speaking. She is a Gold Medalist from the University of Karachi, with a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from London Teacher Training College. Hajra is affiliated with EDLAB Pakistan as an Educational Resource Developer and Trainer, a Visiting Faculty Trainer, and a Storyteller at Nai Subah Youth Empowerment Trust. Additionally, she serves as the Joint Secretary at Blind Respurce Foundation Pakistan. She strives to enhance pedagogy skills in teachers and adolescents through training and designing professional development resources.
