Session Introduction:

This session focuses on practical and compassionate classroom management. “Quieting the Chatter” refers to managing the literal and figurative noise that can disrupt learning—ranging from side conversations and off-task behavior to the general restlessness of a busy classroom. Teachers will explore strategies to build a calm, respectful, and focused learning environment without resorting to harsh discipline, helping students feel both seen and supported.

  • Understand common causes of classroom noise and disruptions.
  • Learn proactive strategies to manage student behavior with clarity and consistency.
  • Create a positive classroom culture that promotes self-regulation and mutual respect.

Trainer Profile:

Khadija Shehzad is a Freelancer & Tech Coach passionate about conducting courses on Remote Learning Tools and undertaking diverse social media projects. She is the Founder and Director of Never Cease to Grow, Facebook platform that aspires netizens to learn and upskill their Digital Content. She received the Best Presenter Award in 2022 by Noor Ul Huda Foundation and is a Certified Digital Trainer from Turning Point Training & Consultancy. At present she is associated with Turning Point as IT Resource Person. Khadijah follows her passion for identifying free and meaningful remote learning tools and has led many trainings on Hybrid Tools that make teaching and training easy for presenters and fun for the participants. She is a strong believer of self-directed learning and has successfully become a Certified Prezi Educator Trainer and the Ambassador to Wakelet.
